The other relevant Treasure Pods are found in the Indigo Quarry and the Ancient Ruins, and their positions are marked on the following map. One of the Treasure Pods that houses a Strange Diamond is located behind the Lab, and Slime Rancher fans should have little trouble accessing it. To note, five of the Treasure Pods in the game also contain one Strange Diamond each, and players that are desperate for the resource can turn their attention to those containers. As such, players that want to expedite their hunts should make sure that they are targeting the biomes with the highest drop rates and avoiding those with the lowest.
Conversely, players are least likely to extract Strange Diamonds in the Ancient Ruins, and the Indigo Quarry and the Glass Desert fall between these two extremely. The other factor that impacts the drop rate of Strange Diamonds is biome, and the Ranch, the Dry Reef, and the Moss Blanket are the best places to drill for this resource in Slime Rancher.
