Traktor can be a little overwhelming to a new user but once you learn the interface, you can really do a lot with it. Also the $300 price tag can be a little daunting but they have multiple packages you can select from, check out their website. VDJ is great for taking that starting step into DJing and can help you choose what path of software you want to move to if you get to that point.
